“My signal is bad.” Now you can prove it.

NetProof measures your connection where you are, stamps every measurement on our server, chains and signs it, and hands you a weekly certified report with a public verification link — ready to forward to the phone company.

How it works

Three steps. Nothing to install.

01

Register the device

Open NetProof on the phone or computer you want to prove. It registers itself; invite another device with a QR code or a link.

02

Measure — once or every hour

Ten small requests (latency, jitter, loss), a 512 KB download and a 256 KB upload, battery, storage and where you were. The server adds its own stamp.

03

Get the certified report

Every Monday a branded PDF of the week lands in your vault: score, worst moments with GPS, what the server saw, hash chain, signature and a verification link.

Not just what the phone says

Every measurement is stamped by our server.

A speed-test screenshot proves nothing. NetProof records, on the server side, the exact time, the public IP you came from, which company owns that network, and the server’s own round-trip to your device — then links the measurement to the previous one and signs it.

  • Server clock, not the phone clock
  • Public IP and the network owner by ASN (the carrier or ISP)
  • Round-trip measured by the server with a nonce on every ping
  • Raw samples kept for the dispute

Server time

The instant the measurement reached us.

Public IP

The address your device used, as seen from outside.

Network owner

ASN lookup names the company: carrier, cable or fiber provider.

Server round-trip

Our own latency measurement — independent of your device.

Phone app — carrier and signal strength

COMING NEXT

The web version cannot read your carrier or signal bars. The app will add the carrier name, network type and signal, and keep measuring in the background all day.

Evidence, not screenshots

Anyone can verify the report. No account needed.

Hash chain per device

Each measurement carries the hash of the previous one. Remove or edit one and the chain breaks — visibly.

Signed by our key

Every check and every report is HMAC-signed on the server; the key id is printed on the PDF.

Branded weekly PDF

Score, worst moments with GPS, all checks, what the server saw, and a certificate block — saved to your DOCZ vault.

Public verification page

The link printed on the PDF recomputes the PDF hash, the report signature and the whole chain, and says VALID or NOT VALID.

Where it was bad

GPS on every check: the bad spots become evidence of coverage at a place and time.

The report is yours. You decide when to share it with your company or forward it to the carrier.

For companies with people in the field

Every crew phone, measured all week. Negotiate with data.

Invite each phone with a QR code. See the dead zones on your job sites, which carrier fails where, and bring a signed weekly report to the carrier — or pick the plan that actually works. Built on the same platform as MyTeamDay time cards and EasyTrack vehicles.

What the weekly report answers

  • Which devices had a poor week, and where
  • Average and p95 latency, loss, download and upload per device
  • Which network each measurement actually went through
  • Whether every measurement is intact and signed
